Walk With Us
For Someone You Love. For Someone Who’s Caring. For Someone Who Needs Hope. 💜
There are so many reasons people sign up for a 5K. Some come to run. Some come to walk. Some come because they’re finally ready to do something that feels hopeful. And many come for something even more personal: to remember someone they’ve loved who lived with a dementia-related disease, to stand beside caregivers who are doing the hardest work often quietly, or simply to say, “I care.”
That’s what this event is really about.
On Saturday, April 11, 2026, we invite you to join us for the 11th Annual Grand Living Lake Mary 5K Fun Run/Walk, a morning of community, purpose, and support for those impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
The event will take place at Grand Living Park at Lake Mary, located at 1021 Royal Gardens Circle, Lake Mary, FL 32746. The race begins at 7:30 AM. This is a chip-timed race and is welcoming for runners and walkers of all skill levels.
If dementia has touched your life, you already understand that it changes everything. It changes the person living with the disease. It changes the people who love them. And it changes what “normal” looks like for caregivers and support systems of all kinds. This walk is a chance to honor that journey, whether you’re participating in memory of someone you miss, showing support for caregivers, or coming simply because you want to help build a more compassionate community.
Registration is $40 before race day and $45 on race day. To register, visit GrandLiving5kFunRun.com.
Participants can look forward to a fun, welcoming event experience, including medals for all finishers, awards for top finishers, and event t-shirts available while supplies last.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center (ADRC), supporting those impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. When you register, you’re helping make sure more people have access to education, guidance, and support through the dementia journey.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for those who want to support the cause and gain community visibility. To learn more, visit GrandLiving5kFunRun.com.

Because no one should walk the dementia journey alone.
